Celebrate Earth Day with OLWC on April 22!

Come help plant native trees and shrubs on Earth Day

Our site for next weekend’s SOLVE IT for Earth Day event is filled. A big thanks to all of the volunteers who signed up – we look forward to planting with you next weekend! If you were later to register, don’t worry – there are other Solve projects sites all over the state! Check out their site and find a project near you.

Come celebrate Earth Day with the Oswego Lake Watershed Council! We will be planting native trees and shrubs along Springbrook Creek, one of the largest tributaries in our watershed. What a great way to give back to the environment, meet others in the community, and to experience beautiful areas not often seen by the public! No experience necessary and all ages welcome.

  • When: Saturday, 04/22/2017  9:00 AM-11:30 AM
  • Where: Springbrook Creek – Hope Community Church 14790 Boones Ferry Rd. Lake Oswego

Please come dressed to work outside: long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing. We work rain or shine and conditions can be muddy so be prepared! Tools, gloves, and snacks will be provided. Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Native Planting.
