This spring, join the Oswego Lake Watershed Council for a guided exploration of local restoration sites. Our Watershed Restoration Tour Series invites you to step into the landscape and experience firsthand how restoration projects support healthy streams, resilient urban forests, and climate-ready communities.
During these one-hour walking tours, participants will explore neighborhood natural areas while learning how water moves through the watershed, from headwaters to downstream ecosystems. Guides will share how restoration efforts such as riparian planting and stormwater improvements help protect water quality, strengthen habitat, and build climate resilience.
Along the way, you’ll discover how green spaces function as essential infrastructure for our community and how everyday actions can help support watershed health.
